About this objectA belt that belonged to one of donor's relations in WW1. Belt is woven material in red, black, yellow, and blue with 'GLOIRE AUX ALLIÉS 1914' woven in red down the middle, each end has a double leather belt buckle. A collection of badges and buttons are attached. Buttons: Australian Military Forces x 2, NZ Forces x 4, Canada Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense x 4, Aut Bello Aut Pace, Royal Coat of Arms, crescent moon with star, Grenadiers button, an Anchor (Navy). Letter badges: NZR x 2, NZFA, NZRB, AUSTRALIA. Badges: Army Ordinance Corps., NZAOC 16th Waikato Reg't., Soyes Ferme.
