NZ Army shirt, khaki green cotton, long sleeves, cuffed with button and buttonhole. Front has collar and revers, front closure 4 metal buttons attached inside with safety pin, with a figure on a horse and the words ‘QUO FATA VOCANT’. 4 pockets, top two have flaps with metal button attached inside with safety pin and buttonhole, bottom two pockets have flap, belt attached through loops on side back, one end of belt has 6 button-holed holes, other end has two holes, a buttonhole and a sewn on plastic button. Epaulettes at each shoulder with a metal button which is attached by brass safety pin inside. Back has small inverted pleat at top, split at bottom. Label in back neck reads: DEFENCE PROPERTY Guardsman SIZE Regular, TO FIT CHEST : 116.Maker
