About this object

Lace collar which belonged to donor's grandmother Olga Nicolivena Tetzner (née Baroness Rhebinda) and was made in Russia. Olga left Russia in 1921 and came to Paparoa in 1943. Cream cotton crochet lace. Possibly all handmade. The lace is motifs of grapes and flowers produced in a 3D manner, the motifs are joined together with picot brides.
