About this object
This collection of glass plate lantern slides once belonged to Charles Foweraker, former Head of Forestry and lecturer in Biology, who used them in his classes.
Stored in a wooden cabinet, the slides cover a variety of topics, including landscapes and groups of people in Hawai'i, cross-sections of flora, images of plants, and portraits of professors and well-known scientists such as Charles Darwin.
