Metal adze used in stone masonry. Handle is missing. Sold by the Gair Estate in the Cromwell Memorial Hall and bought by Connie Perriam and Ron Murray so that something of Mr Gair's could remain in Cromwell. Mr William Gair was a stone mason who constructed many notable stone buildings in Cromwell.
